I know this is getting very basi but I haven't finished updating on Bali. There's two more days left for me to blog about. So bear with me (I know the girls will gladly read this entry hurhurhur)...
Let's recall a little before I go on to Day 4.
The night after we chilled some at Kuta Beach, Faezah and I sent Sha back to the hotel because she wasn't feeling too good. The rest headed back to Kuta for dinner and sight-seeing (more like shopping hardyharharhar). After a quick shower and Magrib, Faezah and I met them, not before our bad experience with the taxi driver. However, I shall not go on about that taxi driver (and the one we had when we took the cab to send Sha to the hotel)...
Famished, Faezah and I decided to have dinner at KFC. I know, of all places...Kentucky Fried Chicken?
Singapore don't have is it??? However, because we were tired, and that was where the boys were, KFC it was. Then we had walked around before we decided to have a massage. Because the place couldn't accommodate all of us, the boys went to another outlet and we girls stayed together. After an hour or so, we met the boys, went to KFC and got Twister for Sha and myself (again!) before we headed back Dwi Sri. On the way back, the boys were telling us how they SLEPT throughout the massage! HHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAA. I was talking to Mat and Mail at the back, and it was hip and happening okayyy Kuta because of all the clubs at the long stretch of road, but really, I wasn't the least interested
UNTIL WE WALKED PAST THIS PUB WHICH HAD A LIVE BAND PLAYING AND GUESS WHAT, THEY PLAYED SANTERIA!!!Aper lagi, naik hantu laaa! Okaylaa, we didn't go in the place. We didn't need to - the live band was at the entrance so we just stood where we were till they were done with the song. Happyy woooo!
Back at the hotel, we decided to hang out a bit more by the pool while we ate. The boys had instant noodles and I, my Twister. We also bought a drink - the wacky name I can't remember - but it's the equivalent to orange squash.
Posing for the camera - Zak took the photo, Sha was in the hotel and Tarm and Nelle went back early to give her some medicine.
( A few more photos of Monday night )
Moving on to Day 4; our second last day and Tarm&Nelle's last day.
Day 4 was divided into three parts: Our morning OTOT activities, the evening act-like-tourists sight-seeing at Uluwatu and finally, reggae night (hahahaha).
Zakiah and the Bedok boys went to Nusa Dua for some water sports activities. Ida and Faezah headed down to Kuta Beach. Sha slept in with me while Tarm and Nelle packed their stuff. I think Mat slept in as well hehehee. Unfortunately for us, the water supply and electricity got cut off so we had to make do with the VERY CHILLED bottled drinks in the fridge. Needless to say, we didn't shower but hellooooo, we bathed the night before ehh. The five of us finally got out of the hotel and had our late breakfast, early lunch at....get this....KFC!!! Faezah and Ida decided to go with the locals to shop for souveniers.

Fauzi, Jaws, Mail and Hafiz at Nusa Dua.

Their Pizza Hut lunch.

IDA SURFER BABE WOOOHOOO!

Faezah and the Japanese babes. Ehem Ehem...
( The morning at Nusa Dua and Kuta Beach )
And where did we go after brunch at KFC? We decided that it was going to be a chillax first part of the day for us so we went to Starbucks!!! It was here that we had an encounter with a curious American who was very surprised that we spoke English prettaayy well. The name's Jodi and now that I think back, I find him to be quite obnoxious with his comments. Oh well.

This was heaven.
( Two more from Starbucks )
Cabbed back to the hotel (seriously, I will be Queen of the Queen of Cabs if I were to stay there hurhurhur because it's so darn cheappp!)...The water supply and electricity were already restored so we thanked God for that. We got ready for the evening itinerary.
Everyone looked soooo nice and quite well-dressed in comparison to the last four days combination of shorts/berms/slacks/t-shirts/slippers. Because Jastina and her bf were already on their way back to Singapore, there were some reshuffling and Jaws joined our van. We reached Uluwatu to watch the Kecak Dance and the girls had to wear a piece of cloth to cover their legs. I wore my skirt so all I was given was a belt-like cloth to put around my waist. I sooooooooooo badly wanted to wear the
sarong! After the Kecak Dance, we made our way to Jimbaran to have our seafood dinner, by the beach, yo! Under the stars, how sooo romantic! We even had a group of men singing Indon songs for us!
To those of you going for a holiday in Bali, and more specifically to Uluwatu, beware of the hundreds of monkeys at the place! Do not wear things that the monkeys can snatch. Ida learnt the lesson the hard way =(

As you can see, their sarongs were purple (the reason why I wanted to wear it hehe) and I took the pink one to put around my waist. Of course, Jaws with his adoration for everything pink chose white. Hahaa. And as if to highlight my height (or rather the lack of it), Ida lovinlgy put her arm around me...

The breathtaking view at Uluwatu, which Singapore does not have.

The 70-men that was part of the Kecak Dance.

Toward the end of the Kecak Dance.

After the performance, we took photos with the some of the casts. Of course the boys absolutely loved it when it was with the ladies.

As you can see, I wasn't allowed to stand in front because I wasn't in the purple sarong.

Waiting for our food. One final group shot (Nelle and Tarm were going back to Sg after dinner).

The FINAL final group shot after dinner. =))
( On the way to Uluwatu, Kecak Dance + Jimbaran dinner )
After dinner, we sent Nelle and Tarm to the airport and it was sort of a sad episode (padahal the next also we balik whattt) because they were going off first and I think it dawned upon us that the merry time we had was going to be over very, very soon. But we managed a joke or two before we said our (temporary) goodbyes.
"Eh korang, malam ni online ah. Nanti kita tengok saper2 yang online..."
Back at Kuta, Jaws, Ida and I (the urut enthusiats that we are) went for another round of massage, this time at a parlour near our hotel. The others rested while they waited for us. Sha, Faezah and Mail went for a horse ride. Somebody went back to the hotel to
berak but I can't remember who.
We met again (Jaws, Ida and I felt supperrrr refreshed) and went to the reggae pub to listen to some good reggae musik. And the place had Sheesha as well! Live band, covers from Bob Marley and The Wailers and Welcome to My Paradise from Steven & CoconutTreez - a good way to end the night.

Fauzi belum aper-aper dah high....
( No (wo)man no cry )
In the comfort of our hotel room, we ordered Mac (yes we did...the joy of having McDelivery!!) and while we waited for our supper, Jaws and Mat got Sha to dye their hair. After everything was done (Faezah dengan cepat nyer pergi ke Bantal Island, Ida no need to say, dah lamer gone!) Sha and I went to bed. It was nice to have the boys tucked us in hardyharharhar.
