During our 12-hour journey; when we (all but Mat) were not sleeping. I even had time to pluck Faezah’s strands of white hair!

Our first pitstop at Machap (or was it at Pagoh?) and we bedal-ed the Ramly Burger. Sedap dokk.

Boat ride to Perhentian Island – the last photo of Faezah and Tarmizi is my favourite!

We went island-hopping to snorkel. Or at least, I tried to. Again, much love to my TeamBali.

What we saw. Of course, the photo does not do justice to what we actually saw.

After dinner, we played Taboo, Bluff and talked about random stuff and all the “what ifs”…

I took the train to Clementi and then the bus to SIM. I went back home on my own too. My father didn't chauffer me around yesterday. It's something great I achieved , after being sent to and picked up from school every single week by the parentals. I felt like a grown up yesterday. Really, tak bedek. But if my father decides to not pick me up from school from now on, I will be damn broke...

Because when I said I went back home on my own, I meant taking the cab.

Sometimes eh, the little things like how some people conveniently forget to celebrate your birthday but celebrate that of the other friends in the same group, after many other birthday celebrations were done, shows that sometimes..sometimes...the effort that you put in 'pasal kawan punyer pasal' is of no use. Gua takder hal pasal celebrate birthdays ker tak beb. I reiterate the fact that I'm old enough to be without the fanfare. Celebrate, gua happy. Tak celebrate, family gua ada. Kawan lain pon ader buat gua happy.

It makes me wonder you know...the wholething about pilih kasih amongst friends. Very obvious in this case.

I was tired and a little under the weather. I contemplated earlier about (not) going for class but my tutor sent the tutorial group an email stating that she would cover the chapters and points for my 3rd and final assignment for this module in this week's tutorial. So, I went and I must say, why did I even think about not going? I must have been momentarily crazy! As like the previous tutorials and lectures, it was a good two and a half hour session. We discussed about the 'correctness' of English. And yesterday, I voiced out a bit more in class! So yeay for me! I'm just so happy that I'm very positive about my lessons and assignments (chey chey, masuk lift picit sendiri nampak). I love studying English and everything encompassing this language. I hope I can retain this enthusiam for the next three years, InsyaAllah.

Anyway, while reading the notes in class yesterday, I had sudden chest pains and I couldn't breathe properly. It wasn't so bad that I was wheezing (like what happened last Ramadhan when I had to stay a night at the hospital) but it was pretty difficult to breathe nontheless. I searched for my ventolin and realised that it was in another bag. I took deep breathes and then in the car, I told my dad to switch the aircon off because I was so afraid it would make the pain and breathing worse. I prayed that nothing would happen to me. And nothing did, Alhamdullilah.

I have my puff with me right now as I'm typing this. Just in case, you know.

Anyway anyway!! I went to Nenek's house after class because she made me Roti Boyan. For the uninitiated, Roti Boyan's like Murtabak, only without the meat but loads of potatoes and eggs (plus some other stuff). I saw some at the bazaar but didn't buy because I know I wouldn't like it. So I got my father to call Nenek on Wednesday to make some for me hehehehe. The Roti Boyan(s) sold at the bazaar and the other shops are similar to what my Nenek makes. The only difference is the ones she makes has doses of a grandmother's love added. Hehe. And of course, it's authentic since she's a Baweanese (so is my late grandpa, which makes my dad one and meeee!!).

I have 10 pieces of 'instant' Roti Boyan in my fridge. Just need to fry them. And eat with the equally power sambal tumis.

Jaws, pasal kau geng Boyan, nak tak? Aku save kan hehehehe.

I made my way to Geylang yesterday after lecture at SIM and met Mama, Nunun and Bibik at Joo Chiat.

I am sated (for the time being) because:

1. I have bought the carpet for my room.
2. I had dengdeng.

Looking forward to tomorrow because:

1. It is the weekend!!
2. ~~I am~~ my uncle is painting my room hurhurhur.
3. Am breaking fast with TeamBali woooooooohooooooooooooo. Dress up, dress up!!

In the midst of completing my second essay (which is nowhere near completion actually but I'll finish it by tomorrow God Willing), I stopped to watch the last DVD (=last 4 episodes) of Coffee Prince. Of course, I fast-forwarded certain parts but i watched again, with excitement, the scenes between Han Kyul and My Chan. If this is not testimony that I am crazy about Coffee Prince and Gong Yoo (or for that matter, that I AM crazy - to not be doing my essay), I don't know what is.

The day finally came.

Thanks to an own goal from Wes Brown and the second and winning goal from substitute Babel, the four-year long wait for a league win over the rivals ended yesterday. For all those times my United-supporter friends made fun of my 'boring' team losing to theirs, I think I have good enough a reason to gloat. I know the United fans wouldn't be happy about it and I know they will come out with all sorts of excuses to console themselves over this loss. Well, at least I know some of my United-supporters friends do that. Lemme think of a few reasons they MIGHT come up with.

1. Their last league match was on 25th Aug so maybe lost their momentum for a bit
2. Sir Alex Ferguson decided to field all three players - Rooney, Tevez & Berbatov - so maybe haven't quite gel (or something la eh)
3. United will be playing a Champions League match and a league match against Chelsea following that so they conserving their energy (afterall, who is Liverpool eh?)
4. The players got a shock after the OG so became disoriented
5. The referee showed favouritism to Liverpool (3 United players booked and one sent off, where got fair correct or not?)
6. Liverpool very lucky this time round (ya la, Liverpool lose expected, they win it's pure luck)
7. Every game against Liverpool, for the past 4 years, they have won, so this time kasi chance ah, cos everytime win also not fun right? (this one my favourite ah)

As much as I had that gut feeling that the Reds were going to win last night, I only celebrated after the referee blew the final whistle because we know the surprises that the Devils are capable of coming up with. Whatever it is, credit has to be given to the Kops because I felt that the 2nd half belonged to them. They dominated the second set and there were plenty of chances created. It was a great result and I'm sure this will boost their confidence.

Way to go my Liverpool lads!

I know this entry will haunt me if Liverpool were to lose the future matches against United, but until that happens, this entry stays and I'm happy.

Just like Mr Mochachos said, it was a beautiful night and that we're both happy people.

Happy that Reina back-peddalled and tipped the ball over the cross bar to save the shot from Giggs.
